Cable

I finally had cable television installed at the house. I wanted to watch the football games during the upcoming holiday and Belinda was tired of watching Family Guy. I had the TV on for 10 minutes and realized why we hadn't turned on the cable since we moved in. Re-runs of Full House, Fresh Prince, lame trick my truck or flip my house shows (CMT, Spike, TLC, etc.), Roseanne, Steven Seagal movies, E! True Hollywood Stories (they have to be true, its in the name!), Oprah, and my least favorite: reality.

My attempts to find local channels with 'rabbit ears' was unsuccessful. I was going to have to spend $100+ just get Fox, CBS, or NBC which comes out of Odessa, Hobbs, Roswell, or even Lubbock. I could not pick up any of those stations and the furthest station away was roughly 75 miles away.

I get 3 months of cable for the same price as the initial investment on UHF and VHF hardware.

Joost? Never heard of it. You forget that I live in a community that encourages marriage, farming, and making babies by the time they are 18.

The neighbors kid asked me were I got fired from last saturday because I don't have a job. They didn't understand that someone can have a degree an actively seek employment.

But I will check it out. USCable does not require a contract.

Its all about timing. Outside of comedy central and adult swim, I mostly have the TV on for background noise. There are a FEW prime time shows that I try to keep up with, but since you are trying to find something during the day, I wish you luck. Keep me informed on who the baby's dady is.
